Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: Describe and explain: forming and functioning system of management (consists of three pillars: personal management, management in general, leadership); what is subject of managerial science, what kinds of managerial paradigm shifs come to; content and purpose of particular managerial components (enviroment, planning, organizing, dicision making, managerial processes, controlling, information and communitation, human recourses and human potential, individul or grouped or organizational culture); content and purpose of strategic management, knowledge management, financial management
Interpret system of management for three levels of application: individual, grouped and organizational
Distinguish different content's concepts of management in general and strategic management
Judge if personal premises and qualification of particular person conform to be a good manager or even so to be a good leader
Propose recommendations for improvment of system of management of particular object (person, interest group, organization) and these recommendations assess
Argue for vaster usage of theoretic pieces of knowledge in managerial practice

  • Strategy management I (ways out of strategy activities, their survey and development, fundamental model of classic approach to strategic management)
  • Strategy management II (internal analysis, SWOT analysis and fanding of competition core, strategy choice, strategy implementation)
