Course objectives
The specific content and objectives of the course and the resulting requirements for its completion is always based on the individual study plan and its semester content. They are determined according to the principles set by the doctoral board of the relevant program. Unless stated otherwise by this procedure, the course is usually aimed at detailed solution of individual questions and drafting of working text of individual dissertation chapters. The aim is to complete the core parts of the work, to formulate the findings, to prepare the preliminary version of the dissertation, to continuously obtain feedback and to improve the text, while developing the corresponding skills.
Learning outcomes
Specific outputs are always based on the individual study plan and its semester content. They are determined according to the principles set by the doctoral board of the relevant program. Unless otherwise specified by this procedure, the outputs typically include: - progress in solving individual questions that are the subject of the dissertation, - drafting of working text of individual dissertation chapters, completion of the core parts of the thesis - formulation of findings - getting feedback and in response to it getting the possibility to edit the text as well as to develop relevant skills;
Syllabus
  • The syllabus is prepared individually after agreement with the supervisor within the framework of the individual study plan. It usually includes detailed solutions of individual questions in relation to the selected concept. Continuous work on the individual chapters of the dissertation continues, student consult with specific sub-topics, while the student actively seeks opportunities for gaining further knowledge as well as feedback on the processed outputs. He completes the core parts of the work and formulates key ideas and findings. The draft of the dissertation is completed.
