- Course objectives
- The examination tests the students abilities to prove their language awareness as well as the ability to discuss the subject-matter concerned.
- Syllabus
- Integrated Refugee Law Course provides an introduction to refugee issues as one of the options within International Public Law. It integrates the theory, practice and legal counselling with the development of language competence and academic skills in the very specific context of current refugee problems. The course consists of English for Specific Purposes seminars combined with practical workshops. The practical workshops aim at the application of the team-teaching method, with the assistance of ESP teachers, Internationalists and Refugee Practitioners, towards asylum procedures simulation and domestic law application in accordance with international instruments, refugee protection or case studies.
