- Course objectives
- The student will be able to discuss, negotiate, decide, and justify their decisions on professional legal topics. They will refresh and expand their professional vocabulary. The objectives of this course are to: improve practical and transferable skills in English (presentation skills, negotiation, argumentation, teamwork), process and write a common type of legal document, improve abilities to read and understand legal texts, enhance the ability to understand spoken English related to legal topics, reinforce speaking skills in practical legal environment.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to discuss, negotiate, decide and give reasons for the decision in certain specific fields of law. The aim of the course is: • to improve the ability to write common legal text types • to improve the ability to read and understand legal texts • to increase the comprehension of spoken English on legal topics • to reinforce the speaking skills in the context of legal work
