Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic legal institutions of French-speaking countries and their involvement in the international community, to introduce them into particularities of legal French, to make them familiar with the basic terminology and to systemize their knowledge of French grammar.
Syllabus
  • A written test of grammatical and lexical knowledge. Topics for the oral examination : L'Etat, le Président de la République et le Gouvernement. Le Parlement et le Conseil Constitutionnel. Les Elections en France. La Belgique - Le systeme institutionnel. La Suisse. Les Organisations Européennes de Coopération. L'Union Européenne. L'ONU - l'histoire, les buts, les institutions. Les Etudes a l'Université.
