Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as to give the set of knowledge that is necessary for the study of the branch of legal subjects. Students will be able: - to characterize law as a system of legal norms, - to recognize essential issues of legal theory, - to define basic legal concepts, - to categorize kinds of legal norms, - to interpret legal norms.
Syllabus
  • Concept, Substance and Function of Law, System of Law, System of Legal Science. Sources of Law. Legal Norm, Structure and Elements. Classification of Legal Norms and their Features. Interpretation of Law. Forms of Implementation of Legal Norms, Concept of Legal Relationship. Legal Facts as Presumptions of Legal Relationships. Subjects, Objects and Contents of Legal Relationship. Application of Law. Legal Responsibility. Rule of Law as an Expression of Relation between State and Law.
