Course objectives
The goal of the Undergraduate Seminar II course is to continue the review of the thesis objective and research questions, or working hypothesis, after the student's official thesis assignment has been approved. At this stage, the aim is to develop the introduction of the whole thesis and to set the detailed structure of the thesis in dependence on their objectives. The aim is also to indicate the methods by which the thesis will be processed. The aim is also to grasp the basic inventory of literature. At the same time, where there is a connection with practice, a specific assignment arising from practice will be defined to be taken into account in the thesis. The degree of elaboration as an objective of this seminar is not excluded depending on the determination by each individual thesis supervisor.
Learning outcomes
The output of the course is: (a) the aim of the thesis and the research questions stated in the thesis introduction; b) the setting of the structure of the thesis, or the nature of its dependence on the connection with practice; c) a grasp of the methods by which the thesis will be elaborated; d) a list of literature for the elaboration of the thesis.
