Course objectives
The aim of this lecture is to explain the relationship of economics and law, to explain the basic economic concepts and principles and to introduce with economic analysis of law. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the basic information presented in the account sheets, to know the basic sources of financing corporate activities, to understand the matters of loans, to know about the tax system.
Learning outcomes
After completing the Economic Foundations of Law course, the student will clarify the interrelationships between economics and law. The subject is a combination of basic information from the fields of law and economics. In addition to general information, students will receive information about individual forms of economic entities, their financing, control, labor-legal relations, but also the termination of their insolvency and liquidation activities. Students will use all this information in subsequent legal subjects (especially financial law, international, private law, etc.).

Methods of this course are lectures with discussions.
Assessment methods
Exam from this lecture is divided into two parts – written exam and verbal exam. The form of written exam is test included closed and opened questions. Verbal exam follows after successful written exam.
