Course objectives
The aim of the course is to enable students to get deeper knowledge of Latin, focusing on the ability of interpreting Latin legal ictions, sayings and texts.
Syllabus
  • Past active system. Supinum and past passive system. Ablative absolute. Infinitive forms. Deponent verbs. Reading, translating and interpreting Gaius' Institutions. Reading, translating and interpreting selected texts from the Digest. Reading and translating Middle Ages texts.Codex iuris canonici.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Seminární výuka v celkovém rozsahu 2 semestry. Podmínkou získání zápočtu je účast a aktivní práce v seminářích a úspěšný zápočtový test.
