Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
describe the importance of personal management by forming of an individual management system
explain: two approaches to personal management, the essence of personal leadership, the importance of using common sense in personal management and leadership, nature of reproduction four dimensions of human development: physical, mental, spiritual and emotional
can distinguish: what is the subject of personal and individual as management, typical features of traditional and modern leadership itself
apply: the process of self-discovery through their replies to questions asked, the method of profile analysis
formulate their own personal mission
propose a procedure for acquiring seven habits of effective people and consequently 8th habit from the efficiency to be exeptional
assess: level of respect for natural laws, mental principles and acquiring of seven habits in both professional and private

  • Efficiencial approach to the personal management "PM" (efficiencial and general oriented)
  • General approach to "PM"
  • Personal leadership "PL"(traditional approach)
  • "PL" (modersn approach and P.U. Bender's concept)
  • Individual management - chosen technics and methods
  • Presentation and defences of student's proposals of their seminar papers
  • What is the 8th habit of S. R. Covey good for?
  • Is it good to use common sense within "PM"?
  • Personal approach to changes and spiritual aproach to "PM"
  • Presentation of seminar papers results (1)

Combination of lectures, exercises (addressing specific tasks in teams), guided discussion
Assessment methods
12 modules, working-out of individual seminar paper. Completion of a course: colloquium For the successful completion of the course by the colloquium the following conditions are given: 1. Participation in teaching module (no less than 10 modules). 2. Working out seminar paper (SP) according to established guidelines and by the deadline and approved by teachers - rating of "pass". 3. Presentation of the results of seminar paper - rating of "pass". 4. Student activity in addressing the challenges of teaching modules - - rating of "pass".
