Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: understand and explain the global system of copyright and patent rights; interpret the legal concepts of intellectual property in international, national and community contexts, as well as in a historical context;

  • 1st Basic legal concepts of intellectual property rights
  • 2nd Basic global systems of copyright and their comparison
  • 3rd Basic global systems of patent rights and comparison
  • 4th Enforceability of intellectual property rights in the international, European and Czech context
  • 5th Concept of non-pecuniary damage
