- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to enhance understanding and level of argumentation in the field of international economic law.
- Learning outcomes
- Doctoral students will gain a better orientation in the field of legal regulation of international trade. They will raise their level of argumentation as well.
- Syllabus
- The basic structure of international economic law - the difference from international commercial law A systemic view on international economic law The World Bank and International Monetary fund WTO International investment law and arbitration International legal aspects of state debt (and financing of states in general) Related issues (like state immunity from enforcement a legal status of entities owned by states)

- Self-study, discussion, problem-solving
- Assessment methods
- 1/A Reflexive and critical essay (in English language) on a comonly accepted opinion in the field of international economic law (the lenght of /exactly/ 15 pages without footnotes).The aim is to learn the art of polemics with other academic opinion and develop creative thinking. 2/ Doctoral students will give a 10 minute speech in the Czech language, in which they disclose their least persuasive arguments submitted in the essay as per 1/ above.
