Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
to review legal and artistic vision of history;
to illustrate and understand distinction between medieval and contemporary concept of law;
to illustrate manipulating people in totalitarian societies (Soviet and Nazi);
to illustrate a period manipulation with historical experience
Syllabus
  • 1. Medieval Court Trial;
  • 2.The French Revolution and its position within history;
  • 3.Germany in the first half of the 20th century;
  • 4.Stalinism in the Soviet Union;
  • 5.Soviet bloc.
