The lawyers from the Ombudsman's Office will use the case studies to demonstrate the nature of the work in the Ombudsman's Office and possible legal solutions to cases. Students will solve practical cases from the field of administrative law that offer guidance on how to handle situations in practice. During the six seminars, we will guide the students through an introduction to the Ombudsman's competences, the way of working and the general principles of his/her work, as well as through the different sub-areas of administrative law. For each unit, the emphasis will be on practical skills training and practice of the range of activities encountered by the Office's lawyers (complaints, investigations of the Ombudsman and their outcomes, preparing comments in the legislative process, etc.).
