- Abstract
The goal is to enable students to practice and reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired in lectures through simulated scenarios tailored to the focus of the degree program. Students will subsequently apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in clinical practice.
The course includes the development of an educational project and its presentation in class.- Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- assess the needs of a patient or client,
- design, implement, and evaluate the educational process, taking into account the patient’s or client’s age and individual characteristics,
- develop and effectively use educational materials in the educational process.
- Key topics
- The exercises focus on applying theoretical knowledge to educational practice. Topics include presentations of students’ educational projects, their professional analysis, discussion, giving and receiving feedback, reflection, and evaluation of proposed educational approaches, with an emphasis on their application in clinical practice.

- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
The course will utilize methods that promote active student participation, the development of critical thinking, and the integration of theoretical knowledge with its practical application, in particular:
- presentations of educational projects,
- discussions and expert debates,
- analysis and evaluation of educational projects,
- peer feedback,
- explanation and defense of proposed educational approaches,
- reflection and self-reflection,
- solving model situations and working with real-world examples.

Learning outcomes will be achieved through active student engagement, the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application, and ongoing reflection. Instruction is based on the presentation and analysis of educational projects, guided discussion, expert feedback, self-reflection, and collaborative analysis of real-world examples.
Part of the independent work involves the preparation, development, and presentation of an educational project.
Credit is awarded upon fulfillment of the following conditions:
- 100% attendance at seminars,
- presentation of the educational project in class,
- submission of the educational project in written form via the MU IS Submission System.
