- Abstract
- The aim of the course is to develop critical thinking and the ability to navigate information in the field of healthcare. Students will learn to distinguish between verified facts, misinformation, and so-called fake news, and will acquire skills necessary for searching, evaluating, and applying evidence-based information. Emphasis is placed on the ability to refute false or misleading claims and to promote a rational approach in clinical practice.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - work rationally with information - become aware of their errors in thinking, analysis and interpretation of information - effectively search for texts of scientific articles and evaluate their quality - communicate effectively with patients

- 1) Interactice lectures: Seminar materials will be uploaded in the interactive syllabus in the Information Syllabus. 2) A short quiz will follow each lesson to verify the take-home message
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- 1) A quiz after each seminar (3–5 questions, with the option to retake the quiz). 2) Submission of an essay on a chosen topic (1–2 pages), followed by a discussion. The final essay will be assessed based on comprehension of the text, critical evaluation, and the ability to interpret information.
