Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should be able to understand basics of selected legal branches. Legal problems in health care are discussed in-depth.

  • 1. Basic terms of law, legal branches, sources of law
  • 2. Civil law – sources of civil law, obligations, civil liability,
  • 3. Labour law – sources, labour code – structure, subjects of labour law, content of labour relationship, health protection, liability,
  • 4. Health care law – sources, public health insurance, subjects of public health insurance and their duties, health insurance funds, patients rights, medical liability, confidentiality, protection of privacy, detention, health care professions, health care administration, self-government in health care
