Course objectives
Branch is one of the preventive approach paraclinical subjects. It is based on theoretical and clinical knowledge of students especially the knowledge of factors affecting the transmission of infections. Theoretical knowledge is based, first principles in the implementation of preventive health care services and also practical cooperation in ensuring outbreaks and the performance of repressive measures.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to Epidemiology. The process of spreading disease. Preventive and repressive measures in focus. Epidemiology of viral hepatitis. Epidemiology of HIV / AIDS Active immunization. Vaccination in the country. Epidemiology of respiratory infections. The eradication of smallpox. Hygienic conditions for the operation of medical equipment. Principles washing and hand disinfection in health care. Disinfection, sterilization. Storage and handling of medical devices Operating Pandemic order, standards of nursing care.
