Course objectives
Disaster Medicine and Integrated Rescue System are a theoretical-practical course. Its goal is to prepare students and paramedics to solve theoreticaly and practicaly aspect of the emergency response with a predominance of medical problems in the prehospital and early hospital phase and cooperation in the framework of the Integrated Rescue System. Students will be able to: - Characterize the incident - Describe the role of IRS - START triage method - Practically deal with emergencies in the field of view medic IRS
Syllabus
  • 1 to 3 solving model situations and practical training activities using various helpers in the prehospital phase, 4 to 6 solving model situations and practical training activities using various helpers in the early hospital phase, 7 to 9 medical practice sorting using a single sorting and identification cards, practice sorting of lay START 10 to 14 participation in exercises of coordination components.
