Course objectives
The aim of nursing practice the preparation for practical training leading to acquire knowledge and skills to provide specific nursing and pre-medical first aid, which is ensured at patients in critical condition in the pre-hospital emergency care, medical operations center and acute intake. An integral part of the preparation on a specialized role in selected areas of health care and get information about an establishment where such care is provided. Practice will take place in the workplace: Medical Operations Centre The Medical Emergency Service Thše Emergency
Syllabus
  • Skills: - receive, record and evaluate emergency call from terms of severity of health status of the affected - make telephone briefing to provision of first aid - provide effective psychological help and support over the telephone - ensure adequate way of resolving a most appropriate way of transport - coordinate and ensure the implementation of transport and other specific activities, including transplant program - activate emergency and trauma plans - maintain documentation of medical operations center - make surveillance, monitoring and evaluation of information vital functions including differential diagnosis - make specific nursing care to adults and children aimed mainly at disabilities of organ systems, including trauma and multiple trauma - techniques cope with communication with disabilities and others in critical situations - provide specific nursing care for organ donors - monitor the functionality of instrumentation specific to emergency medical care and ensure its constant readiness - assist in childbirth and hurried make the first treatment of newborn - maintain documentation of the device Activities: - receive, record and evaluate emergency call from terms of the severity of the patient and the degree of urgency to ensure adequate method of solution using telecommunication and communication technology - make telephone briefing to provision of first aid and provided additional hints using appropriate psychological approach - activate emergency and trauma plans to address the health effects of mass accidents and disasters, and to his sector. Ensure the implementation of using all the possibilities of the integrated systém - make surveillance, monitoring and evaluation of information vital signs, participate in the evaluation of severity of the condition - participate in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation with   using technical equipment including atrial heart electrical discharge - contribute to the provision of urgent care including airway management tools available - participate in the preparation and application of medicines - contribute to the provision of care for specific organ donor - assist in childbirth and hurried to participate in the first session newborn. Performance and frequency (mandatory minimum range): - assessment of emergency calls (or in specific situations) 10x - security of transport (eg donor organs, tissues, drugs, blood, and their derivatives professionals needed to provide specific of urgent care, etc.) 5x - activation of the Integrated Rescue System 3x - activation of emergency or trauma Plans in specific model situations 5x - evaluation of data on the status of victim in critical condition 3x - EKG design and evaluation 5x - implementation and evaluation of orientation laboratory tests specific to urgent medicine 10x - ensure the laryngeal mask airway (or the model)3x - ensure airway using kombirourkou (or the model)3x - ensure airway using endotracheal tube (or the model)3x - connecting the patient to the instrument ventilation 5x - preparation and assistance for mothers giving birth in bed medical equipment 2x - care the newborn after birth, or. in bed medical equipment 2x - extrication and positioning of the patient (or the model) 5x - immobilization of the injured 5x.

Assessment methods
The Subject ends with an examination,granted on the basis of 100% participation, elaboration of seminar work on a given topic, meet the frequency of required performance. The frequency of performance will be recorded and confirmed in Logbook supervisor.
