- Course objectives
- The subject brings the theoretical information and practical experience in nursing care in ICU with the stress on the therapy of patients with infectious diseases. The greates accent is done on the exceptionality of intensive care in infectious diseases - the barrier access, prevention of nosocomial infections, protection of the health-care workers, typical diagnosis.

- 1st ICU in infectious diseases - exceptionality – barrier access, prevention of nosocomial infections, protection of the health-care workers 2nd tick-born encephalitis 3rd infectious gastroenteritis with serious dehydratation - CVVH – Clostridium difficile infection 4th oportunistic infections in HIV patients – infectious complications in seriously immunosuppressed patients
