Course objectives
Introduction to clinical practical training, medical documentation. Acquaintance with clinical practice, bedtime work, medical documentation. Through the demonstration of the case studies of individual systems, students will familiarize themselves with the issues of internal medicine. Introduction to and demonstration of instrumentation used
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, the student will be to orient oneself in the problems with the basic symptomatology of internal diseases. He will know the possibilities of using basic diagnostic instruments in medicine (X-ray diagnostics, ultrasound diagnostics, magnetic resonance, laboratory technique).
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the patient's bed, medical documentation Examples of use of instrumentation in individual workplaces Interview with the patient, obtaining anamnestic data Targeted anamnesis according to selected nosological units Overall view of the patient. Demonstration of case studies of patients with cardiovascular disease. Demonstration of case studies of patients with lung and respiratory diseases. Demonstration of case reports of patients with   internal secretion and diabetes. Demonstration of cases of patients with gastrointestinal tract disease. Demonstration of case histories of patients with liver, gall bladder and pankreas. Demonstration of case reports of patients with kidney disease. Demonstration of cases of patients with metabolic syndrome. Auxiliary Examination Methods in Practice. Care of the patient in an acute state.
