- Course objectives
- Disaster Medicine and Integrated Rescue System are a theoretical-practical course. Its goal is to prepare students and paramedics to solve theoreticaly and practicaly aspect of the emergency response with a predominance of medical problems in the prehospital and early hospital phase and cooperation in the framework of the Integrated Rescue System.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
grading the wounded by the START method,
solution of model situations and practical activities with the use of figurant, in case of an emergency in the pre-hospital and hospital phases,
to practically solve emergencies in the field from the point of view of an Integrated Rescue System medical practitioner. - Syllabus
- Solving model situations and practical training of individual activities with the use of figurant in the prehospital phase, solving model situations and practical training of individual activities with the use of figurant in the early hospital phase, training of the medical classification with the use of a uniform classification and ID cards, START prerequisite training,
- Participation in synergies exercises of Integrated Rescue System components.
