Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are:
-learning the description of the anatomical structures of the nervous system with a focus on the central nervous system, including the sensory organs
-understanding the topographical relationships of the structures of the nervous system
-understand the relationships between the structure and function of the nervous system
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
1) identify and describe, using internationally accepted anatomical terminology, the organs of the nervous system and individual sensory organs
2) characterize the anatomical significance of the nervous and sensory systems
3) have an overview of the normal anatomical proportions of the studied formations and to evaluate them with imaging methods.
