Syllabus

Definition of psychotherapy.
Psychotherapeutical approach, systematic psychotherapy.
Individual, group and family psychotherapy.
Behavioral, psychodynamic psychotherapy, its bases.
Intervention during psychic crisis.
Methods of relaxation.
Problems of work with pain, depression, anxiety, defensive mechanisms.
Providing information, providing adverse prognosis.
Problems of dying, death from the aspect of patient, therapist and medical team.
Psychological questions of relation between therapist and patients’ relatives, survivors.
Psychological problems in individual branches: oncology, geriatry, home care, pediatrics, psychiatry, gynaecology, surgical branches and others.
