- Course objectives
- The goal is to link theoretical knowledge of surgery with nutritional therapy to the student was able to use in practice.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will know diagnosis, treatment and specialized nutritional procedures in surgery, will be able to assess the nutritional status of the client / patient and develop an individual nutritional care plan for clients / patients and evaluate the effectiveness of individual nutritional procedures.
- Syllabus
- 1. General principles of perioperative nutrition. 2. Nutrition in patients after surgery on the digestive tract. 3. Accelerated postoperative rehabilitation (Fast Track). 4. Special nutrition for patients in the perioperative period after exercising in the head and neck. 5. Perioperative nutrition in trauma. 6. Perioperative nutrition in surgical procedures outside the GIT. 7. Baryatrie 8. Emergency First Aid - CPR (practical training)
