- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to extend students’ knowledge in the field of scientific advances in dentistry, to motivate students and strengthen their scientific ambitions and lay the foundations for their postgraduate studies and scientific careers.
- Learning outcomes
- After receiving the subject, students will be able to orientate in the specialized literature on dentistry. They will be offered the opportunity to participate, within their field of study, in the research projects of the Faculty of Medicine, MU. Further, the students will get acquainted with the principles of scientific work and thus they will gain one of the prerequisites for writing their own studies – surveys and/or using original experimental data.

- Students will be acquainted with scientific advances in various areas of dentistry focusing mainly on the basic and applied research, see Topics. Excursions to specialized workplaces. Colloquium.
