The course is suitable for students, who study teaching science or physics studies and for those who want to interest in basic electronics - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in Physics (programme PdF, B-SPE)
- Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in Physics (programme PdF, B-TV)
- Course objectives
- After successfully studying, students will be able to:
1. Understand the basic electrical engineering principles and abstractions on which the design of electronic systems is based. These include lumped circuit models, digital circuits, and operational amplifiers.
2. Use basic engineering abstractions to analyze and design simple electronic circuits.
3. Understand the concepts of employing simple models to represent non-linear and active elements-such as the MOSFET-in circuits.
4. Build basic circuits and take measurements of circuit variables using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators. Compare the measurements with the behavior predicted by models and explain the discrepancies.
5. Understand the relationship between the mathematical representation of circuit behavior and corresponding real-life effects. - Syllabus
- Introduction and lumped abstraction in electronic
- Basic circuit analysis method
