- The subject is an obligatory part of present and bachelory specialization Social pedagogic and leisure time education. Students are expected to engage actively in course activities, demonstrate proficiency in selected physical skills, and participate in the preparation and organization of leisure-time programs — all within the specific setting of winter nature, mountainous terrain, and a recreational facility.

- Abstract
- As part of the course, students will: - complete methodological training in winter tourism and sports, particularly in skiing, snowboarding, and avalanche safety.; - under the direct supervision of qualified instructors, implement a practical course in winter tourism and sports for various target groups; - develop methodological materials and outputs related to experiential education and leisure-time activities.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will: - demonstrate the ability to apply methods from leisure education, experiential learning, and adventure-based learning within the context of a winter course; - actively contribute to the group dynamics, cohesion, and overall atmosphere of the target group; - design, implement, and evaluate lessons tailored to diverse target groups, with respect to the specific requirements of working in winter conditions; - demonstrate knowledge of safe movement and conduct in mountainous winter environments.

- Course Content: 1. Organization, equipment and gear for winter sports; teaching methods in winter sports; safety in mountainous terrain. 2. Alpine skiing – equipment, basic skiing preparation and skills, methodology of instruction for target groups. 3. Cross-country skiing – equipment, technical preparation, basic skills; classic skiing, skating technique, methodology of instruction for target groups. 4. Snowboarding – equipment, technical preparation, basic skills, methodology of instruction for target groups. 5. Non-traditional winter sports; outdoor and indoor winter games; staying in winter nature; avalanche safety course. 6. Winter hiking with snowshoes.
