Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
Students are required to complete an individual portfolio assignment, which must be submitted electronically in accordance with APA 7 standards via the designated submission folder in the course materials section of the Information System (IS). The assignment is due by January 10, and meeting this deadline is a condition for successfully passing the course. If necessary, students are allowed to resubmit the assignment for revision up to two times. Late submission will be considered a resit attempt. Active participation in the course is required. This includes preparation for class, completion of ongoing assignments, prior reading for course sessions, and active involvement in discussions and activities. To successfully pass the course, students must also pass a final online knowledge test, which takes place at the end of the semester. Students may take the test even if they have not yet submitted the portfolio assignment. The course carries 4 ECTS credits, which, according to the study regulations of Masaryk University, corresponds to 100–120 hours of student work. This includes 8 hours of in-class instruction, with the remaining time allocated to class preparation, self-study, completion of the portfolio assignment, and preparation for the test.
Alternate completion
Students going from Czechia on an INTERNSHIP abroad complete a portfolio task and take a test. The subject can be completed during the semester, in the following semester, or through a similar course abroad.
