- Abstract
The Graphic Studio course is designed as a space for developing original work, visual thinking, and the ability to reflect on the graphic medium in both its analog and digital forms. Instruction focuses on integrating a conceptual approach, experimentation with materials, and the development of an individual artistic style. Students work with diverse graphic techniques, media, and materials, which serve as a means for developing their own artistic language.
Emphasis is placed on the ability to independently formulate a theme, explore its visual and semantic possibilities, and create a coherent artistic project corresponding to the student’s individual experiences, interests, and capabilities. The course also includes reflection on sources of inspiration, working with references, ongoing consultation, and presentations of one’s own creative process.
The course takes into account the diverse entry levels of students and supports individual development. An integral part of the course is didactic outreach—students are guided to reflect on the potential applications of selected graphic principles, materials, and methods in their own future teaching practice.
