Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- Explain the concept of the curricula
- Give examples of each type of curricula
- Characterize the NPEEEE
Incorporate the Environmental Education into existing curricula
- Characterize crosscutting theme Environmental Education
- Explain the difference between Ecology and Environmental
- Explain basic ecological concepts (population, community, ecosystem)
- Characterize global environmental problems
- Explain how to dispose of different types of waste
- Characterize the selected pollutants
- Characterize the landscape
- Characterize the instruments of landscape protection in CR
summarize issue of exploitation of energy resources in the context of sustainable development

Teaching methods
The Form of teaching: mass-frontal, mass- individual work
Methods of teaching: Lecture, work with literature.
Assessment methods
Assessments methods: written test, oral debate. Fulfilling requirements: basic orientation in environmental issues - verification of knowledge through a test and oral debate. It is nescessary to obtain at least 70 % from test. Students who obtain 60-69 % must pass an oral debate. If they obtain 59% or less, the must repeate the test.
