Course objectives
Introduction to the basic mathematic operations and procedures using in chemistry.
Syllabus
  • 1. Real numbers Algebraic operation.
  • 2. Complex numbers
  • 3. Functions and their use in chemistry
  • 4. Equations and their use in chemistry Liner, quadratic, cubic, transcendent, goniometric equations.
  • 5. Scalars and vectors and their application in chemistry
  • 6. Determinants and matrices and their use in chemistry
  • 7. System of equations and their solutions
  • 8. Linear and non-linear regression and their application in chemistry
