The course is designed as a wide range of practical workshop activities, which teachers may choose to use for themselves. Alternatively they will be asked to analyse the underlying principles of the activities with a view to creating their own during the course.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Pronunciation and rhythm activites. Listening and doing activities. Tongue twisters and jazz chants. Range of reading activities. Oral activities. Problem solving activities. Writing acivities. Construction of quiz activities. What can second language teachers learn from first language aquisition? Creation of an optimum learning environment. What principles can be identified from the range of workshop activities?
