Doporučuje se úspěšné zvládnutí obsahu předmětu Geografické informační systémy, tj. základní teorii nutnou k práci s GIS s porozumněním, dále dobrou znalost práce s programem ArcExplorer ( úrovně předmětu Geografické informační systémy - laboratoř).

Course objectives
GIS - geographical information systems
In the last years - one of the most rapidly developming subject of informative science. It is used in high quality cartography, in the spatial planning, in the controll of natural recourses, in the evaluation of environment and ecological research etc.
GIS is the computer system capable of holding and using data describing places on the earth's surface. Using SW ArcView 3.1. and ArcView for visualization, analysing spatial geodata, making maps for (especially) diploma works.
Syllabus
  • Introduction into the theory of GIS (geographic information system) and cartography. Survey of selected software programs.

cvičení, podmínky udělení zápočtu: účast na cvičení, odevzdání závěrečné práce v požadované kvalitě, předpokládá se i samostatná práce v Laboratoři GIS přip. mapování v terénu
