Course objectives
Course goals : - explore the American literature written in English since the days of the first colonies to the beginning of the 20th century, focus on typical themes, representatives and artistic periods; learn about oral literature too; - discover pros and cons of full versions and simplified versions of the most popular stories, and the possible use of simplified versions in your future teaching practice.
