Course objectives
The course offers basic information about creating and using standardised/nonstandardised language tests for teachers.

  • Definition, purpose and types of tests; Basic numerical „True/false“ test Open tests Cloze tests Dictation Konstruované odpovědi Essay Reliability and validity Construction of basic didactic tests Pretest and testing Multiple task tests and test batteries Written parts of language certified examinations.

Assessment methods
Course Requirements: Attendance is mandatory. Students cannot miss more than 3 classes. Students are also expected to participate actively in class discussions and Moodlinka forums and complete homework given.
Methods: class discussions, forums, homework, individual projects.
