Course objectives
Students will have hands-on experience in using various methods and techniques of TEFL.They will cover the basic principles of teaching and developing language skills and systems, they will consider the differences in teaching various levels and age groups, they will choose and evaluate materials for their lessons and they will learn how to give feedback to their prospective students and peers. The participants will be expected to reflect on their teaching and learning experience based on the EPOSTL (European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages) and they will react to some issues in writing. The course will be integrated with the Practical language course and the two subjects will share the requirements.
Course objectives:
to raise students awareness of basic principles in TEFL
to develop their teaching skills
to make them reflect on their teaching and learning

A minimum achievement of 70% of the total 100 points is needed to sit for the semester exam.
