It focuses on the English needed in the classroom, for studying the EFL teaching and learning, for participating in teacher development and teacher-training courses, conferences, workshops etc. The framework of the course is based upon a book called "English for the Teacher" (see Literature below), which is a language improvement course for teachers of English as a Foreign Language piloted successfully in various parts of the world with a range of different teachers.
At the end of this course, students should have practiced and improved their classroom language as well as the English used in the EFL/ESL/TEFL/TESOL theoretical discourse.
