Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to:
(1) create a positive attitudes to living organisms and understanding their need;
(2) understand basic relations between animate and inanimate nature;
(3) acquire basic information about construction of plant and animal organisms, first at the cellular level, at the level of plant and animal tissues, and finally at the level of individual organs;
(4) explain the importance of the fundamental components of plant and animal bodies, metabolic courses, management and reproductive functions;
(5) understand the course of life events and function of major organ systems in the integration of all processes occurring in plant and animal organism;
(6) integrate biological knowledge from various areas for better understanding of the biological and ecological contexts;
(7) work with the recommended literature.
Syllabus
  • Crop and animal cell, diversity. General Plant and Physiology. General Zoology and Physiology. Somatologie man, the regulatory mechanisms used in the human body, bases ontogeny man. One such species, the development of society in relation to the environment. Variability and variability in relation to the conditions. Inheritance and variability. Live system and environment (including TUR). Virtually vznamné species of plants and animal species practically significant, in terms of nutrition man. Animals in relation to our major ecosystems (water, forest, grassland, anthropogenically contingent).

Assessment methods
Written tests and final project; the written test consists of 30 questions, 20 of correct answers is needed to pass; the final project is assessed 30 points and at least 15 points is needed for passing exam.
