- Understand the development of Russian children's literature, to explain the current state of research, to create conditions for a specific meeting with the most significant books and authors of Russian children's literature and their interpretation with special emphasis on the use of educational practice. The course is suitable for people interested in the issue of Russian children's literature.

- Significant points in the development of Russian children's literature with a focus on literature of the 20th century. Syllabus will be specified at the beginning of the course.
