Course objectives
The purpose of courses in subject Basics of pedagogy is to map basic pedagogical disciplines, constructs, methods and theories. The basic line of studies represents analysis of the process of euducational transformation of czech educational system after the year 1989. Teh aim of the courses is to estabilish by students basic knowledges in the branch of structure and function of pedagogy as a science. At the end of the course, the students will be able to: - Define the basic pedagogical terms, - Explain the basics and structure of pedagogy as a part of social sciences, - Explain the topical issues of pedagogy, outline the possible outcomes and possibilities to solve them, using the facts from the reading and own experience, - Evaluate the importance of topics covered for the pedagogical theory and practice, - Explain and define positions and values in the processes of education.
