- Course objectives
- The aim goal of course is to give an idea of Asia and Africa as operating systems, regional units and different dimensions and hierarchical classification based on natural and corresponding economic and social parameters. Students have in regional geography of this regions exhibit art of composing partial component information and factual localized information to include in their context. At the end of this course the student will be able to: - Explain basic approaches to macro-regionalization. - Use the information obtained from the partial objects SG and FG integrated and explain their influence on the properties of the region. - Interpret knowledge through analytical and spatial thinking. - Describe the impact of natural conditions on the spatial distribution of population and economic activity. - Students demonstrate knowledge of the natural conditions, historical development and deployment of economic activities by the World Atlas. - Evaluate the formulation of expected outcomes in terms of FEP subject RG Asia and Africa.

- 1.Approaches to the Regional geography. Definition of macro-regions of the world. Basic characteristics of the continent, relative, absolute position and regionalization of the continent. 2.Geology, geomorphological conditions. Climatic and hydrological conditions. 3.Biogeography, natural regions and nature protection. 4. Historical development of the continent - colonization processes. 5. Spatial distribution of the population. 6. Urbanization processes. 7. Distribution of economic activities. 8. History and present conflicts. 9. Selected geographical aspects in East Asia. 10. Selected geographical aspects of Central Asia. 11. Selected geographical aspects of Southwest Asia. 12. Selected geographical aspects of the Islamic world. 13. Selected geographical aspects of Sub-Sahara Africa.

- The course is realized by the lecturesStudents will elaborate presentation with didactic focus on a given topical issue relating to the development of the selected macro-region of Asia or Africa. Subsequently introduces a presentation to other students. The created will serve students as a basis for teaching in elementary schools.
