The course is taught in Russian language. It is necessary knowledge of Russian language at the level of min. A2.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the   realities of contemporary Russia and its traditions and holidays, to deepen the language skills of students and their communicative skills. The aim is also mastering the connections between language study and national realities and connotations of the word.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course: The student knows the basic phenomena of Russian culture and history, can describe the political system and geographic peculiarities of the Russian Federation, objects of applied art, the differences between Orthodoxy and Catholicism. The student is able to find the information, texts and videos on RuNet and functionally use them. The student is able to verbally and in writing to answer questions from the circle of covered topics.
