Course objectives
Annotation: The course is intended only for students of the Department of Social Pedagogy who started their studies in the years 2017/2018, 2018/2019. The subject is framed as one semestral project ended by realization of Forum Theatre with chosen aim group. Forum Theatre deals with problematic topics (e.g. bullying, smoking, absenteeism…) and its solvation. Students are introduced to different kinds of exercises, techniques and plays, that are used by this type of theatre. With the help of theese techniques they work in smaller groups on choosen topic. They create a short theatre story and screenplay with bed end. Then they offer this end and they play in front of the chosen aim group, which task is to help the main hero of the story.. Froum Theatre leads the viewer to the awareness that everyone has a possibility to influent and to at least slightly change the events around us and in the real life too.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students will be able to: Define the terms of the theatre of suppressed. Describe the goals of the theatre of suppressed. Compare the local and international attitudes to the theatre “forum”. Constitute a performance of the theatre “forum”. Plan a workshop of the theatre “forum”. Apply a performance and a workshop of the theatre “forum”.
