- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is the acquisition of a comprehensive knowledge of electronics at a university level. The emphasis is placed on the logical structure of this scientific field and acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for teaching physics at the primary school. For this reason, more simple experiments are integrated into the lecture and the relationship between the subject matter and reality, e.g. nature, home, technical applications, etc., is emphasized. Objectives: Knowledge: A comprehensive set of knowledge of electronics with the emphasis on the relationship between the subject matter and reality, e.g. nature, home, technical applications, etc. Skills: To be able to identify the principles of natural processes and technical applications. To able to make sufficient approximation based on the basic laws of physics and consequently carry out the calculations of simple applications. To know simple experiments and the relationship between the subject matter and practical application. To be able to make a reasonable estimate of values.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student should know and know: Fundamental laws of the thematic area "Electronics". Identify principles based on electronic circuits and technical applications. Describe and perform simple experiments and the relationship of the subject matter to practical applications. Perform calculations of simple application tasks.

- 1. Basic concepts, passive and active components of electrical circuits 2. Laws and methods of solving electrical circuits 3. Basic electrical measurements 4. Physics of PN junction, diode, bipolar junction transistor 5. Unipolar transistor, thyristor, DIAC 6. Integrated circuits 7. Analog signal processing 8. Applications of analog systems 9. Basics of digital circuits 10. A/D and D/A converters 11. Microcomputers 12. Automation Syllabus of the laboratories (weeks or blocks): The laboratory sessions develop both practical skills and the theoretical knowledge acquired from the lectures. 1.
