Abstract
The aim of the subject is to observe the specifics of children's artistic expression; to explore ways how to initiate authentic artistic expression; to actively search for creations of artists seeking inspiration in children's artistic expression and spontaneous art.
Learning outcomes
After completing the subject/seminar, the student will: - understand the specific characteristics of children's artistic expression; - understand the actual goals of art activities in pre-school education; - be actively interested in fine arts.
Key topics
The relationship between the development of the psyche and the development of children's artistic expression. Interpretation of children's artistic expression (case report). Spontaneous and controlled artistic expression of the child in the context of pre-school education. Diagnostic possibilities of children's artistic expression. Methods and forms of initiation of children's artistic expression - practical examples, outputs, reflections. Fine arts and pre-school education - inspiration, implementation of art activities.
