Course objectives
After this course, student should be able to: - describe and interpret human anatomical structure and its functions - see the point as a holistic system - explain, enumerate and interpret basic biochemical processes in human body - implement basic fitness investigation (heartbeat, breath) - implement basic sensory organs investigation
Syllabus
  • I. Bacic of Ergonomics Practise 1) School environment effect on the health of pupils. School furniture – backbone abnormal curvatores, visual handicaps – basic examinational methods. Specific needs of a left-handed child. 2) Summary of plants causing allergy and poisonous plants that are not supposed to be cultivated in classes. 3) Textiles causing allergy, allergens in food. 4)Footwear effect on arch – arch examination. II. Biology of Man Selected Practise 1) Essential physically-chemical reactions coinciding in human body. – 2) Examples of digestion process. 3) Breathing movements – differences between children, men and women. Breath frequency at rest and in tension. 4) A minute breath capacity. Simple examine of heart fitness and blood circulation functions. A minute heart capacity. Heart rate, blood pressure values. 5) Osmotic and oncotic pressure and its meaning in the human organism, the cause of hypertension and atherosclerosis. 6) Methods determining the sugar in urine. 7) Sense of taste, 8) Senso of eyesight, 9) Sense of hearing – examines. 10) Nerve reflexes.
