Course objectives
At the end of the course students will understand the basic mathematical concepts and theoretical basis which is needed to understand the concept of natural numbers. They should be able to explain how pupils at primary school are contacted with natural numbers and should be able to solve application tasks.
Syllabus
  • Propositional calculus, set theory; binary relations, mappings. Cardinal numbers, operations with cardinal numbers. Natural numbers, operations with natural numbers. Natural numbers at primary school mathematics. Solving problems.
