- Course objectives
- Field practice in cartography and topography Verifying the knowledge about the field orientation with the help of maps and instruments. Creation of a geographical chart and orientation in an unknown terrain. Topographical instrument measumements and evaluation of acquired data.
- Syllabus
- 1. The familiarization with proper topographical and cartographical workplaces
- 2. The tachymetrical measurement by theodolite and total station, the creating of planimetrical map
- 3. The determination of relative and absolute elevations by the levelling from middle
- 4. The alignment of designated plot by the orthogonal method
- 5. The creation of the geographical scheme by the method of forward intersection
- 6. The practical activities with map, the orientation to the world points of the compass, the determination of azimuths
- 7. The checking of knowledge of orientation during the travelling in the unknown terein by map and compass
- 8. The interpretation of tychymetrical and levellinf notebook, the creation of plan
